With our centre situated on the banks of the River Wye we have the perfect setting for your canoeing adventure, perhaps shooting rapids or just a lazy paddle on a quite scenic stretch of the river.
Your day will begin by meeting us at our centre at Kerne Bridge, where a member of our team of top qualified coaches will give you a full safety brief, and all the help and advice you need to get you on the water with confidence.
We have a large free car park, and we are able to transport you and your canoes up river in our mini bus for trips finishing at Kerne Bridge. Pick up by arrangement for trips downstream of our centre.
The Boats
Open Canoes:
Our comprehensive fleet of stable old town canoes can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 small children and 2 adults.
We also have single seat kayaks available:

We also have single seated kayaks with the option of a skeg to help you paddle in a straight line.
All hire charges are inclusive of paddles and buoyancy aids, spray decks and helmets.
Trips
Ross-on-Wye to Our Centre 8 miles:
Starting at the picturesque market town of Ross-on-Wye, the river gently meanders through beautiful scenery, taking in the spectacular Goodrich Castle along the way. This trip will take you approximately 3 hours and is suited to all abilities.
Our Centre to Symonds Yat 8 miles:
Starting at our centre at Kerne Bridge this half day trip takes you through isolated countryside taking in the spectacular Symonds Yat Gorge. We will meet you at Symonds Yat and bring you back to the centre.
This trip will take you approximately 3 hours and is suited to all abilities.
Ross-on Wye to Symonds Yat 16 miles:
A combination of the two trips above to make a full day with the advantage of a picnic or pub lunch along the way.
Hoarwithy to our Centre 18 miles
Hole in the wall to our Centre 13 miles:
Both of these are full day trips depending on your fitness level and experience. These adventures will take you through beautiful countryside and enable you to stop for lunch at Ross-on-Wye, or find a quiet spot to picnic along the way.
Hereford to our Centre 35 miles:
Your two day adventure will start at the Cathedral city of Hereford, and you will paddle downstream to spend your night at the riverside village of Hoarwithy, which offers a choice of camping or bed and breakfast accommodation and a friendly pub. The following day is spent making your way back to our centre.
Hay-on-Wye to our centre:
Starting at Hay-on-Wye in the shadow of the Brecon Beacons national park this trip will take you about week, as the river flows through some of the most beautiful and unspoilt countryside in the country. You will have the opportunity to camp or stop at Bed and Breakfast accommodation along the way - a wonderful way to refresh yourself away from the crowds.
